Just curious, how many weeks did it take you guys to get your actual build date? I've been waiting almost a month since I've placed my order and not sure if this is normal or if I should go to another dealer. Thanks in advance.

I placed mine with this dealer in June and got a build date assigned in September. There are a bunch of factors such as the size of the dealer and their allocation, options selected, and current demand.

Whats up everyone? im here in South Africa and i see you guys are on a waiting list. i went in this morning and they have a silver one, im not sure between white nd silver they bringing a white for me on monday to have a look at. We have quite a lot in stock! but if i sign a deal i can get it this week, but will take it in Jan as im going away soon. Will keep updated and Congratulations to everyone!

You did really good with that deal! One of the other sales guys told me mine was getting lots of **** because he didn't sell my car over MSRP for being an Edition 1. I told him my sales guy knew better and I would have laughed at him if he tried.

That other salesman is just a feel good BSer. These guys try to team play you into thinking you did better than you should have or how much better they treated you than anyone else. Your guy never would make a deal that the GM or SM did not pre-approve. Laughing at his BS was the correct reply if you ask me. You have to teach these guys to treat you with a little respect.

About to place my order today for my 2012...can you guys give me some thoughts here? The dealer is a bit hazy on the options and whats included (surprise).

Apparently I cannot get the rear view camera as that will delay production until June per the factory, they are low on those parts (?). So Im getting the S32 package instead...what will I miss from the S32 pkg vs the 320 Multimedia package? The dealer says nothing but the rear view camera...but what about the H/K soundsystem?
Im waffling a bit on the color...have my '09 Black now and love it, but really like the look of the 2012 white/black & red/red calipers/CF spoiler. Fiance just laid into me last night about how its a chicks car and Im ruining it, should get black, so thats now got me rethinking
Apparently the only options I dont have are the rear sunshade, parktronic, lane assist, and multimedia. Car will be built in January.

also i think H/K sound system is standard with Premium package 1

Really leaning towards white...I think the dealer placed the order this morning so that decision may have been made for me...which is probably a good thing, I analyze to death.
"It will look like scarface's car....like eddie murphy from the 80's, with that cheesy interior!!" is what Im hearing now.
Dealer also says H/K is standard.

Went with Arctic white on black interior....bailed on the red. One of my buddies I consulted with nailed it when he said "its too hot import nights" - reminded me of those times and I thought you know what....forget it, sticking with black. Added parktronic and CF trim.

I was going to go with Blue but it was too purpley in the sun and I've owned a black car already. Diamond white it was.
