Conti Sportcontact 3 for C63?

Hi all,

Yesterday I shredded my front tire after some spirited driving on a track
The track was a bit too small for a C63 so I had some heavy cornering which destroyed the front right tire.

The tires delivered with the car were Yokohama's Advan Sport but as I needed urgently some new ones I could only lay may hands on a set of Continental SportContact 3 235/35/19 91Y XL.

Now, I don't feel 100% sure about these ones as they seem to be average in any rankings or reviews I can find on them. Also the 91Y load index seems pretty low, on the Yokohama's the load index was 103S.

What would be the best tire I could get for my C63 PP+ ? I don't care about comfort, I just need good track performance as I'll be driving a couple of weekends on the Nurburgring and Spa-Francorchamps over the next 2-3 months.

Also, what is the max size I can put on the 19" wheels? Default it is front: 235/35/19 XL 103S and back: 255/30/19 XL 103S.
Some good tires can not always be found in 255/30/19, the latest Michelin Super Sport is only available in 265/30/19, would that fit?

Many many thanks in advance for you advice

The Conti's are under rated. IMHO they are very good tires.

I've got Conti Sport 5's on mine and can't fault them so far...
