Nice Looking Badge, I Want One
I was stationed in Erlangen Germany during the Viet Nam War. Well, that was along time ago, bout 40 years ago, fighting frigging cold war:

I was with Old Ironsides, Salute, HHC, 2nd BDE, 1st Armored Division.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Co...st_Germany.gif Hey, look at all the badges.........
Badges are all over European cars, it's a norm. That badge of yours takes me right back. Total recall.
So, I will have me one of them badges if you please, however, if able, please direct me to the Ebay link.
TIA from a Cold War Vet
PS, we all know, they ain't no mo rice, the waves dun washed it all away....God Bless Em.

See, the issue is this: Your car Kart looks great as is. Less is more. The badges are overkill IN MY OPINION. But if you like it, more power to you. Your car looks great. But yea, its your car, do what like.

I think the most important thing is to ask yourself if YOU like the look with the badges
I don't think it matters what people you are unlikely to ever meet think of your changes
If we all did what other people tell us to do we would all drive the same colour cars etc
Why not do whatever you want to your own car

You guys are mean!!!
I actually don't dislike the thing. It's a bit too much, but it is not that exaggerated.
It's far - far - better than huge wings, CF hood, idiotic 20' chrome wheels or the classic "C63 AMG Black Series" badge. Mainly because it is not a lie: it is a C63 Affalterbach edition, right? So, why not?
The man is not pretending he has something he doesn't. It doesn't classify as classy, but it ain't "ricey" either. The C63 AMG has much more emblems than the M3, for example (it has the AMG emblem on the brakes, on the sides and even - EVEN - on the muffler tips!!!). So, we are all ricers?!

Not a fan of the additional badging.
In standard form, the C63 is an enthusiast's car so people who recognize it already know what time it is...the specialness of your car (particularly the paint job) should speak for itself among those in the know and speak volumes more than the extra badge.

I removed the badges last week... In my first post I said I was not sure about them. It's not the comments on this thread that changed my mind, i just didn't dig them from the beginning. Thought I 'd show the car with them for you to see and comment.
They were not 2 feet tall, they were 2 inch diameter. I don't think they are "RICY". All in all they make excellent toolbox stickers.
Here is the link on ebay for those interested.
