You will grow up someday------hopefully. Your parents bought you a car that can end your life very quickly. Respect it and don't make your parents have to mourn your passing. I have a 18 year old son so I speak from a place you don't understand yet.

No sense repeating what everyone said.
All I'm gonna say is take it easy and don't make any stupid mistakes.

It would be easy to criticize your behavior, but at least you had the courage to admit what you did and ask for feedback.

Truth is that probably nearly everyone who drives a performance car like a C63 sometimes crosses the line as far as acceptable driving on the road. Otherwise, why'd you buy a car with 451 hp?

If someone criticizes you for your driving, the natural reaction is to be defensive, but best to view it as a sign that you probably did go too far, so stay cool and take it easier in the future.

You are a very lucky young man to have a C63. Treat it with respect, but still have fun driving it. If you were driving a bit too aggressive at least you realize it. Personally being much older I really don't give a S H I T what anyone else thinks of my driving. Given all the a$$holes in minivans and SUV's driving way past the performance boundaries of their car and themselves. I have two standard lines depending on what car I'm driving.
1)What's the difference between a Porsche and a Porcupine? The Porsche has the P R I C K S on the inside.
or
2)What's the matter. You didn't get laid today.

Of course people are less likely to punch out a knarly old guy that looks half crazy anyway.

You guys are a bit hard on the kid I think. We have all been there and I know that I deserved to be called an Ahole on some days of spirited driving.

On the other hand there are some real Aholes out there and people over react. What was the "old lady" driving? She was probably just mad that your a kid and have a better car than her.

I had one woman decide that when the road went from 2 lanes and merged into 1 that she was going to race me to the merge in her 5 series BMW. She lost and when it opened back up to 2 lanes again she pulled next to me cursing that I was an Ahole and that my car was going to fall apart. I just sat there laughing at her and the light turned green and I pulled away slowly as she hammered her gas and made herself feel better.

I had another woman actaully get out of her car and stand next to my window like a crazy woman yelling and asking me to open it. Then the light turned green and she got back in and flew next to me yelling and screaming like a maniac. I rolled down my window calmly and said "Whats the problem?" She said "You cut me off...blah blah... I bet you have a small blah blah" ect.. I looked at her again calmly and said "Lady, your playing a dangerous game, how do you know im not a serial killer and im going to follow you home now and kill you" She got a dumb look on her face and rolled up her window.

Agreed. The funny thing is I've never done half the things you guys did at <20. No one is a saint, but I am pretty damn close. I've yet to honk my horn ever, while driving. If a douche does cut me, blast by me, gives me the finger, I just become passive to **** them more off. Since by the time I react to honk, it'll be too late. If you don't retaliate, you win. They get more road rage and might have a stroke or heart attack. Who laughs last? P.S. I mentally picture that person wrapped around a tree.

Sometime, it won't be an older lady in an A4. It will be a beast of a dude on a Harley. Or the dad of a small kid who was playing somewhere that you just blew by. And you'll be bleeding shortly therafter, with your windshield smashed out, and a tire iron sticking through a body panel.

So don't act the fool. If you want a spirited drive, go somewhere with no traffic.

I was happy to even have a car when I was 17 let alone a Benz, let alone an AMG.

17 year olds may be physically developed and have driving skills but is the maturity level there to temper the power of a 500hp car and use it when its appropriate?

It must certainly be nice to be driving a C63 AMG at 17 yrs old.
Your parents must have deep pockets.
I bought my first car at 19 yrs old, a POS 1980 Honda Accord.

No, they're not. Look what happened to those kids at Jumboland. OP is asking for death, a serious injury or a lawsuit that takes all of daddy's money away.

OP, start driving more responsibly. You may think you're a good driver, but you're absolutely not. Experience is invaluable, and it takes time to gain.

Regardless, that lady was a ****.

Ahhh... "Driving like a douche"

Guilty... as im sure 99% of the C63 owners are. Quick launches. Downshift blipping.. loud exhaust. To an "Old lady" and to most every day people who just dont get it, its douchey.

17,27,37,57... this guy is being judged for his age, not the action.

To most of you judging this kid.. unless he said he was weaving in and out of traffic and racing on side streets take a good look in the mirror. Most of us drive like douches as I defined above. If you dont then I suggest you drop your car off at the nearest toyota dealer and get a Prius.
