I'm not feelin it too much either. i love the thought of the new E63 with the 5.5 TT and Launch Control, but that body will probably get an update in 2 years......
I'm lovin' the new CLS63...would definitely take it over the M5 and the E63

That is handsome.
The old CLS 55 AMG is complete garbage and sucked donkey ***** on track. This one, however, is just pure sexy and love the diffuser.
I wish MB integrate CLS 63's LED onto the 2012 C63. Those LED are huge!

Sorry the new F10 M5 looks a bit gay, and the driver looks somewhat amused, the amusing bit is that when he probably drove a CLS63 V8 BiTurbo, he realised what a piece of BMW plastic this new M5 V8 biturbo is all about. And trust me this car looks like it was built next to a 1 Series.
Come on, M5's had their day, but the V10 gave an annoying comfort drive and the smg box shoved you like it hated it's job. The E28 M5, engine was from the legendary M1 and E39 M5 V8 na, which had a well made 6 speed getrag manual box and a great LSD this is what defined the M5 genre.
No diss-respect to this M5 F10 V8 twin turbo, but I can just imagine all the initial hiccups, like the E60 V10 had and God forbid they start having turbo problems.
BMW - M Division trying to build AMG type M cars, what a joke...
Mercedes Benz - AMG if you live in the real world and enjoy the finer style of living.

I think this car is going to look much better in person. Also, if that last M5 was any indication, fit and finish will be top notch on this car...the brushed aluminum and leather feel so good!
Now don't get it twisted, I'm a huge AMG fan but I'm pretty unbiased when it comes to MB vs BMW...that TT powerplant is going to be something to reckon with in a straight line...especially now that they've increased the torque SIGNIFICANTLY. Dynamically speaking, I have no doubt this car will impress on the track...having track-driven the 2012 E63 (which was surprisingly neutral) and CLS63 (which surprisingly boat-like in comparison,) I wouldn't be shocked if the M5 carved either of them up on a track....and if they make one with AWD...watch out.
This is good for everyone because it continues to push the performance envelope higher for all manufacturers.

CLS63 is the one to have right now if you need a car this size. All the mags will rave over the M5 though. I agree it looks like a big E90... which isn't a bad thing, it's just a bit uninspired.
I haven't really been into M5s since the E39. Now THAT was a car to be excited about when it came out.

Fail on keeping the M5 looking aggressive. I think a flagship M should be much more identifiable generally.
Does anyone know what the CLS is starting at ($)?
