I think I just gave myself a heart attack
I just ordered up the radar/laser/redlight camera protection for the C63 and it just hit me what I've spent to do this on all the cars that I drive stupid in.
I could have bought another car for this kind of money. Detectors might have cost me more than a years insurance on all the fast cars together.
Maybe I should rethink this custom installation strategy and go with a visor mount one of these days. Its adding up.
What does everyone else do?

my SA showed me an sls at the dealer. it had the detector/jammer installedinside the grille which is not visible at all. and the thing where it tells you that there are laser/radar/red light cameras is installed on the dash so it looks stock kinda hard to explain but heres a diagram of how it is on its dash

I've just been buying the 9500ci and Tricplate and with a shop doing the installations and wiring the two together it can grow to about $2500 per car.

Its seriously not getting worth it to speed even a little at supposedly safe speeds like 80 where cops used to turn a blind eye to it in CA because everyone does 80. I really don't drive fast. Its more of an insurance policy against speed creep. But the cost per pound for laser/radar protection is probably more than a Veyron costs and way more than the return on insurance savings. I might have to rethink this. I don't mind spending the money but its getting kind of stupid with multiple cars.

I just put a Val one with hardwired visor or windshield mounts in all three cars. The Val makes me drive slower actually. I might put laser jammers in the Porsche and C63 and hardwire them to to the Val.

My wife drives the fastest and seems immune to tickets. She does 90+ all the time.
I'm a tinted window ticket magnet.

Great! Come and pick me up everyday at 8am and take me to work. I like to leave at 6pm. I don't mind riding in back, lets just hurry up.

From your last posting in your SC build, it seems your resources are quite broad. So, I kind of doubt this is really giving you a heart attack. Me....yes.

I have an Escort 9500i in windshield and escorrt shifters in front grill and rear license plate frame. Works Awesome. So far been saved from 4 instant on lasers with the shifter and a dozen KA band tickets....

You know, even for people intent on spending all the money they've made because you can't take it with you, $7500 for 3 setups is a lot of money.
Especially when my dealer fleet insurance policy is only about $6K per year including large commercial diesel cargo trucks and all my cars.
For a lot less I could just drive like a maniac and take my chances for far less money. The trinket factor is strong though...

I'm thinking seriously about moving the 996TT to a house I own in Sebring. I hear there's a track nearby

That's what I use already. You need to speak up about what you have laying around. If you don't tell me, I'll just buy stuff on my own all day long.
I figured I'd put it all in when the car gets ripped apart for the new sound system and interior pieces.
