How long did it take to get the tires up to temp, or did they have them warming up pre-session?

It took 2 laps or so to get the tires up to where they needed to be. It is not so much the temp as but a combo of temp and getting the correct pressure into tire. These were comp tires not racing slicks. I have attached a pic of the tire from side profile - you can see they have a very small tread in them. It had been raining during the day on-off and was cool so slicks would have been a challenge in these conditionsOriginally Posted by justthebest
