Sorry to hear about your bad experience of owning a C63. I really do think that this is a isolated incident as most have found the C63 to be void of issues in most cases.

Motoman: I was told the same thing by my dealer here in Orland Park, IL. Seems very strange that unqualified (or uneducated) technicians are working on these cars.
Anyway, the CEL has come back on for a 4th time now and my lawyer will be send MB USA a demand letter.

MAK, You may have trouble with lemon law pursuit. If you widely read car mags it is very widespread. The systems are IMO overly sensitive to all sorts of things, grounds, stock market ... What stings is memory of my 97 Pont GTP now at daughter;s home in So Cal with not a single CEL in 120K. But you could not pry our C63 loose from my woman with a crow bar. Regards , MOTOMAN

What makes a lemon law pursuit for me an inevitability now is that I cannot register the car in IL or NW Indiana since it will not pass an emissions inspection. Even the dealer has admitted as much!
Still, for now, I am enjoying driving it around with the temp. license plates until I get a response from MB USA.
