Lease question: aftermarket wheels
All,
I'm currently leasing my 2011 C63. I just bought some BBS CH-R wheels. My question is, would you keep the stock wheels and put them back on the car when you return it (have roughly 1K miles on them), or sell them now and return the car with aftermarket wheels?

No, keep the stocker wheels, and put them back on when you return the car.
If you return the car with other than stock, you might have to pay a penalty.

as nice as the BBS's look the dealer will charge you for stock wheels and tires if the car is returned with the BBSs.
offtopic but what is the offset of those wheels? Been looking at them now that tirerack carries them but they don't list offsets.

Thanks, that was my thought as well. I ended up going the route of custom wheels, though, I originally had intended to get my stock wheels powder-coated black.

19X8.5 5-112 ET40
235/35R19
19X9.5 5-112 ET45
265/30R19
I worked with Damon at Tire Rack to figure out all the correct information. Great experience working with Tire Rack, Damon's perfect to work with. Should have my set tomorrow.
