Uh, $13 for shipping that tiny little thing? Are you serious?

Depends on where you are at, and if you ship it to a business address or residential. Our shipping costs are actual, insured costs plus 75 cents for packaging and materials. We are based in Atlanta, so that would be about right to Oregon.

My feedback for you would be to allow the customer to decide whether they want to insure it or not. A flat rate USPS envelope (free for you) will get here for only $5.

We understand, we hope to be able to offer many shipping options if we can grow a bit bigger. Right now, with so many custom products and programming we have to do already - we try to keep things as streamlined as possible to hold down costs. Our company owner is a big believer in systems process, and simplicity... In the spectrum of things 2-6 dollars is a very small amount to our standard ticket (with averages $678 right now) - but I hear you. We just have to keep it as simple as possible in house when handling a few hundred orders per week - and a very small support staff. One big problem with the Post Office in our area (which we do use for certain addresses), is they will not pick up any packages at all - without a 2 day delay. So we have to hand carry them almost 10 miles through heavy traffic, stand in line for about 30 minutes - as we can no longer drop them in the bin "for security reasons". So even though the postage itself may be $5, time and energy makes it double that pretty easy. It is so bad here now, that the local PO have closed at 5pm even to PO Box holders do to security concerns.- its crazy!

You know that is an excellent explanation and I appreciate you taking the time to explain that. I was not going to order it, but after chatting with you I'm going to make the purchase anyway. Keep up the great service and helpful attitude.

not normal, but I don't have your real name to check on the order. It seems if it was ordered before 3pm EST on the 19th, it should have been sent already. Please note, like nearly all manufacturers in the auto industry, we have been closed from Dec 22nd - Jan 2nd for holiday shutdown. I am at work, but can't really get anything valuable done, as all of our suppliers are closed too. So if the order came in after 3pm, it probably did not make it out. I could check if you want to PM me your real name, so I can check the logs. Heck, I can rob one of the dealer kits for one and mail it to you if I knew who you were. Production would be sore at me for disrupting the flow, but they will get over it

Don't remember the exact time on the 19th, so I can't help there. Understandable that there would some holiday delay, but by the time this thing ships I'll be looking at 3 weeks or more waiting time. I'll PM you.

Sent you a PM, yep you placed it actually on the 20th (our time) which means it does not post through the credit card company till the 21st - missed the holiday cutoff - but I am taking care of you
