Thanks for the update skokkosis, look forward to hearing your opinion. There seems to be quite a few of us unsure about the quality/fitment of these ebay diffusers.

That is a bunch of BS. It would have to be free if they commit you to keep it on the car for any length of time.

well... i did NOT expect this... see... fitment was AMAZING. as you see from the images it sits perfect, and tucks into the diffuser bezel neatly with seamless alignment... cons... well you make something so PERFECT at this cost.. and you fail on what... the tips are now somewhat inside the diffuser and the diffuser the top 5th of the tip... what do i have to say about this? sure looks different, many of you may like the look, it looks very beefy, but i wish the tips came even with the cutout, see for yourselves, quality and finish is superb, perhaps their diffuser is meant to give this look? with some aftermarket i can sure fix it up, but will i? i don't know i'm hot and cold with the look i've gotten out of this diffuser, more of a wrapping look around my tips that a cutout... it's not ugly, it's not beautiful... it's somewhere in the middle... again all but the tip alignment is perfect

i have a shop that i deal with a lot, and they had done some work on my e500's tips in the past, i had no tips and wanted the dual tips in the back, so they went along and cut out the exhaust spaces on the bumper and welded on the tips, the stock tips faced down and were behind the bumper, flawless work and got me 07+ looking rear bumper without any issue using my car's stock 04'
so i think im going to have a shop cut my tips off and weld on some type of curved pipe that will lower the tips a bit since this diffuser covers the top of the tips and also extend them out to a reasonable spot with this diffuser, because i love it! and it shouldnt run me much to get that job done! i will keep you all posted on this move im planning on doing, feedback is still welcomed, once done i will show everyone the finished product

Skokkosis, the diffuser looks super aggressive!!
The tips could definitely stick out more though.
Looking forward to the finished product.

Post more pics in the daylight if you can? Will it be a problem once your exhaust is hot & expand a bit?

i dont think it will be an issue... i mean the space around it is as much as the stock provided... the top part of the tips that you will all see when i snap day pics (i wrapped up the install at 12.30 last night, only took me an hour though) is tucked inside the diffuser, the lower part, somewhat comes near the sides of it, but it still looks like its inside the bumper, so with the quick mod i will have the shop do, should land perfectly and i believe still cheaper that a full "reputable" diffuser... like I said quality is superb!

i believe in 2 weeks, i work 7 days, it's hard for me to nail a shop to do me work b/c the run from 8-5 usually and i get out around 5, this is the main reason i do all my car work on my own, in combination to enjoying it, and for the most part i know how to so many things on my car, why have a shop do it? so b/c i can't get it in a shop during the day, i work on my car at night, hence why all the photos were at night, likewise if anyone peeped into the 2012 taillight thread, the video i posted was during the night as well. so whenever the shop can squeeze me in and i get my brother or best friend to drop it off for one of their days off so i may borrow their cars for work
