FS Feeler: MBH Longtube Headers & Resonated Midpipes

1 Attachment(s)
The MB dealer is removing them from my 2010 C63 trade this week, and I thought I might try out something different with my new 2011. Absolutely nothing wrong with the MBH setup, it's just that I get bored easily and like to try out different things. They sounded great and made impressive power, as detailed in the below thread:

https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w...cgsd-tune.html

Items included are as follows:
MBH Tri-Y Long Tube Headers, Stainless Steel, w/V-band adapter flange
MBH 3" Catless Connecting Mid Pipes
MBH Resonator 3" add on for Mid Pipes

I paid $4645 for the parts new from James at ACGSD, so I'm asking $2750+shipping. The parts only saw about 6K miles installed on my car, and they are in great condition.

I've attached a picture from the original install.

Anyone interested let me know.

No kidding... I'm there all the time. My wife's family lives there. She lives right off Topanga Canyon N, next to the Dennys.

I'll hit you up in the future so we can meet up if you're down.

Btw, sounds like you're offering a real good deal.

Sure, I'm down. Is your car black? If so, I think I've seen you cruising around many times.

Interested, comparing numbers....

xtyper 09-09-2011 05:20 PM

Still available...

PetroC63 09-10-2011 10:06 AM

No takers yet?

This is not good news for me. I'm watching this thread closely.

Probably because a couple people have switched from MBH to MHP now for various reasons (not the other way around). Most people buy headers and keep their 1st set since it's an expensive mod. Then the other part is you can pick up a set of new MHPs for ~600 more than a set of used MBH....

What are some of the reasons? I'm curious....

My guess is that they are gearheads who realized MHP headers + tune is the best combo out there for this car, otherwise why would they waste time and money to switch combos. I would understand shorties to longtubes. They will have to answer more accurately...

Ok, the dealer removed the headers on Friday and now they are taking up space in my bedroom since I have nowhere else to put them.

These need to go, so I'm dropping the price to $2500+shipping.

Taking up space in your bedroom? How the heck do you live when you have to store car parts in your bedroom....And you drive a C63? Are you living pay check to paycheck?

Tough situation with the wifey right now, so had to move out from my house and get myself an apartment while we try to work things out. She has the garage, and all I have is a carport. Not living paycheck to paycheck, but paying a mortgage AND high SoCal rent is definitely putting a strain on the finances.

I hope everything works out Eric.

Didn't you just upgrade to a 2011? Maybe that wasn't such a great idea if your are that financially strained. I would think if your living out of a bedroom that serves as your garage storage you may want to think of selling the C63 to pay for other more important things. I was always under the concept of living in your means and not driving a $60K+ car if you can't afford it. Kind of how everyone got screwed in the housing fall because they were not living in their means and taking on loans for houses they couldn't really afford (when 5hit hit the fan). The United States is one of the few countries where so many people live for show and cannot afford the things they go into debt for. Just sayin...good luck.
