i drive controller replacement
I saw this on Ebay and was wondering if anyone has done this or thought of getting this for their car? lmk

I have it and the quality is really great.
It does not replace the controller but goes on top of it.
Much better then using the stock controller.

I've looked at this, but it's more bulkier then the original. And far as I know, the original can't be removed, this one mounts over top of the exisiting one. I like this idea better.

Yes, the one in the photos are one in the same, for both the shift knob, and the controller knob. Jerry at www.formymercedes.com will sell them to you, if you ask.

This and that.
I have had this for a couple of months but never 'installed' it. To be honest it just sticks over the original knob and sits quite high. So from the sides you can see the actual knob and this cover sitting on top of it. For some reason just feels cheap. I didn't want to install it cause it has the double sides tape under it and I figured I might not be able to remove it without breaking the knob if I don't like it. If it sticks to the knob quite well I may not be able to simply pull it off.
