Still not loving the Accord-on-steroids look, but I think it will sell well if the price is under $100K and drives as well as we hope (I'd consider it). If the price is over $100K, IMO it'll face stiff competition from the new 911.

Works fine with Google Chrome and yes they did a great job on the site, they also added some new jaw dropping pictures of the C63 Black Series, its under "Gallery".

I think anyone truly focused on performance will give the new 911 a once-over, but I don't think a lot of people looking for a BS are Porsche people (). I do think that the BS will fall into an odd class between track-focused users and younger drivers that like the combination of aggressive styling and brute force. (Lots of generalizations in this blurb)

Heard everything from $110k-140k, one or two US magazines expected mid-80's...but a regular fully loaded C63 is already near that. They also expected the CLK63 Black Series to be $100k (sticker was $140k) and expected the SLS to be $250k (started at $183k) so I wouldn't rely on their expectations. General consensus is more than $100k. I can't imagine it being cheaper than a performance package CLS63 ($110k). I'm expecting it to be close to the CLK63's $140k price considering the weak dollar (the 2012 SLS base price was raised $6k over the 2011 to $189k due to this).

I hope they didn't pay for that website...way to teenager ricey gamerboy sort of thing.
Annoying sound, grainy black and white silly graphics,etc. whatever... just my opinion.
These guys always have better info and pictures;

As for the car, I think the whole AMG lineup is short 50 HP.
It would really tick me off sitting at a stop light and one of those "mullets on wheels" mustangs and cameros having ~550 Hp and costing significantly less, pulled up next to me. Additionally don't those companies offer a bunch of performance parts for those cars? It would be really nice if Mercedes would either bump things up a notch or at least offer upgrades to ensure none of the other sedans would be even close in performance. 517 HP is embarrassingly 4-5 years behind the bar.
That and I want this car in a 4 door.
