I agree about the paint being a pain in the a**. I got a major scatch on mine after a month of ownership. It was on the passenger door (lower part) and would not have been protected by a "3M" film, at least a partial car installation. After a 4000$ quote to repaint the whole door and front fender (no warranty on the actual finish/could have been apparent), I ended up getting it buffed at a detailing shop and the depolished with a "matting paste" made by 3M. It does not show up in the big picture, but if I focuss on the area I can see the difference in finish. The goog thing is it does not bother me anymore! The car is such a pleasure to drive!
I thought about applying a protective film but it will change the finish on the car. Unless you do the entire car I assume it will show. There is a "satinguard" film (I saw it on another thread) that could be a solution. If you decide to do it let me know I might consider trying it out too!

C63 AMG Affalterbach
Hi I also got a C63 affalterbach and I wanted to quickly message you saying. I used to work at a car detailing shop and we experimented with a lot of different things on the new matte cars but could never really find an "awesome" answer. But, since I got my affalterbach the one product that I am very very happy with is the "Dr. Beasleys Matte paint Prescription"

I really enjoy keeping my car super clean and am really careful of what products I use on my car because the paint is so rare and different. Most car wash products are designed to make the car shiny and thats not what we need.

Always been a big fan of the Affalterbach Edition cars, too bad us USA folks never got them. I think they're the second best looking C63, after the CBS of course!

I'm guessing that's somewhat of the equivalent to the Edition 1 in the states. Cept we didn't get carbon fiber mirrors.

LOL shkadang .. i agree, the carbon fiber, LSD, and PP would have been nice. However, someone modified an edition once that ive seen at the dealership a while back to have all these, which was cool, a 2012 A edition if u may
