Late service
How bad is it to do my service late? My B0 is due like today but I won't have time until next week (thursday-friday, around there).
I did my previous ones early, I'm at 38k and some change right now, will it hurt any if i wait a week? Will probably end up +300mi max maybe all highway.. Would still be before 40k though.

Hahaha, glad I'm not the only Paranoid one when it comes to servicing.
Yes, you will be fine, don't even worry about it. Just go easy on the car if it helps you sleep better at night for that week. Nice car btw, we have the same color

I could be wrong, but I noticed that if you go late, the "assyst" makes your next service more comprehensive and the dealer wants to follow what assyst says...
For example if service A is due the assyst does this: On time or prior to due date: A -> B -> A -> D
late / after due date: A -> D -> A -> D

I wouldn't worry. I just had my service B done and my assist menu will tell me that I was 40days overdue now but my mileage was 19400 miles which technically was below the "10000 miles service interval for 20000 miles".
Honestly, I wouldn't stress it over. When I took my car foi its first oil change I had 10200 miles and the service manager told me that I could go up to 12000 miles. Those service indicators are just there for reference.

I haven't got no where near that point. I am assuming that I will get the messages like 11 months from now or when I am in the 29000 mile range.
Maybe someone can answer that for us. I thought that either goes back to A the B and so on or it goes to C but I am not 100% sure, this is my first Mercedes and I still have low miles on it.

You can check what your next service interval is at any time. Go to the Service Menu in the Multifunction Display in the dash. Go to the ASSYST Plus with the up and/or down arrows and press OK. The required service and deadline should display.

300 miles is fine, as your not like 1500 miles. It is preferable to perform your services before or right when there required, but things happen that you can't anticipate. You'll be fine, don't worry yourself.

My service is 5 months behind since I'm stuck overseas. It'll be one of the first things I do when I go back end of this month. But I plan on having the dealer replace all the fluids and it should be okay....I hope?

For anyone wondering, my service timer now says "Service B0 exceeded by 100mi"
The earliest appt they had available was Monday 9/26, hopefully it's okay. I still have 1000mi til 40k anyway. I guess it'll even out, doing it early last time and late this time.

My car is in storage too. All I did was hook a battery tender to it and fill up the tank with fresh gas and a fuel additive. I am not worried about it, but we will see in December, I suppose. Will drive it hard over Christmas holidays and then change all the fluids in the summer when I get back to it again.

Quick question for you guys.. I have a non-PP C63 and this guy told me $190 for rear diff service.. I know I don't have a LSD but I guess it's the open diff that needs to be serviced? Was just wondering if this is a rip off or not.
Also I told him that I thought that was only for PP C63's and he told me that I have PP because PP is what makes it a C63 from a regular C-Class.. Wut?? lol

Sometimes you have to ask yourself, does the car really need this or that. As the Service Advisors are trying to generate revenue for the dealership, by any means necessary.
