I may be purchasing my first AMG in the next 2 weeks time and I was leaning towards the sedan. Problem is, when I was playing with the config. on the website I noticed that the amg package on the sedan doesn't come with LSD, is this true? or was there a mistake on the website?

 

I think they took it out of the PP+. You will have to ask the dealer about it. I did not notice it as an option online unless I missed it. You do get the CF Trim so that is an improvement for the same price for the PP+. Last year with the LSD it was $7800 with no CF Trim if I remember correctly.

 

I ordered my 2012 sedan a month ago, the LSD is available for about 2K separate from the development package.

 

My 2012 AMG Performance Package + came with LSD.....

 

That's because you're from Canada. The packages are completely different in the US.

 

Seconded. I just picked up my 2012 sedan with lsd but sans development package. The "build your car" tool on mb's U.S. website reflects the option. It is totally separate and apart from the development package.

Edit: oops, just noticed OP was from Canada. My post here is good only for the U.S. market, at least as far as I know.
