well i have had my cf trunk and wing combo for sale but no takers yet

my new hood just came in Friday so the old one has to go to a new home . i live in El Paso , Tx so i'm sure that local pickup is out of the question for most people but , by some strange chance , you are passing through or will be in the area , i will sell these items for dirt cheap .

i would like to sell these items in the U.S. because the shipping would be too much to ship out of the country .

i am still trying to find a cheaper way to ship the hood to you

i think i am going to keep the similar paint scheme as the old one . the new trunk will get a little change . i am going to just keep the top of the new trunk in carbon but paint the rear part .

well it's a good friends body shop that does all my paint work , so like always , i will be helping with all the installs . i'm always there for all the install cuz i want to see how much custom work , if any , it takes to fit right . all of the stuff i have bought has fit damn near perfect every time .

The reason I ask is because I want to install my CF hood and I've been wondering how to remove the attachments on the hood for the hydraulic openers.

Do you have experience with this?

Hi mate love, the hood, it is soo aggressive! With your white car have you thought about painting bonnet white and leaving the area of the vents/slats in exposed CF? I reckon that would look loco ****! I did it on my car and with Dads vented hood. Looks great and would be even insaner on white car.

i thought about that but i also have Keith's trunk and i wanted to keep the top of the new trunk in carbon and color match the rear section . i think it would look funny if i didn't keep the same look on the hood as i have now .

........but i do agree that it would look insane with just the vents exposed

I think it would look pretty cool if you painted the whole hood and just left the vents bare carbon.

i half a55ed it and did a little makeover of what it might look like in white with vents exposed and i have to say it looks pretty good

I like it! I was thinking maybe not adding the white strips across the vents. Kinda like boxing out the vents.

i would like to let you guys know that because of you , i have decided to change the look of the car now . i am going to paint the hood and box out the cf vents . i am also going to paint my Dads cf trunk except for the edge of the wing .

i hate coming on here cuz there are so many new ideas for me
