Fluid MotorUnion complete failure!

Can OP chime in on what happened? This is the first we're hearing of anything like this?
Any specific reason why you joined MBWorld today and felt it was necessary to comment on some other cars before bringing up a matter this serious?
We don't have anything to hide behind, if this is a legitimate accusation please call the office or e-mail me direct at mmarzano@fluidmotorunion.com

^^^I see your point. The OP just joined the forum and all the sudden is making claims. Wonder if this is coincidence...

Evasion mentality? Maybe you misread what I said. Any tune should be fine under any weather circumstance. How in the world would anyone tell you ya, just dont run the car when its cold????
Colder denser air = you need more fuel. If the ecu wasn't able to provide that, then bingo you have failure.
This was the first real week in chi that we had colder temperatures this season.

Eurocharged Performance ML63 and TT lambo
Not so much misreading your words but maybe the intent behind them. I am certainly not anti- tuner by any means and I thoroughly enjoy the additional performance my modifications provide. In this case we agree that there is a lot of information missing and my comments are completely generic to the tuning industry in that some accountability should be provided along with the software code included in the price.
if this is even a real "issue" to begin with...

The OP is obviously not aware of how serious a forum can spread negativity like cancer against a companies name.
Like I said before, we have nothing to hide, if this was legitimate I would of at least expected a call or some type of contact before a random forum post?

Just speaking hypothetically here, not talking about the vendor in question, at all. But, when you adjust the minimum timing as well as knock sensitivity like Powerchip was explaining in the other thread, it doesn't matter what the MAF is reading, the ECU can only adjust so much...

Another thing I find odd is the OP refers to his car as a "63", not an "E63" or "C63"...who talks like that??? Most people would say what kind of 63 they owned, at least in the initial post on a thread, right?
I am starting to cry Bull Shiznit on this one guys.

We'll be giving a quick call to every 63 customer that we've been involved with to date to make sure everything is alright first thing in the morning.

Dont worry folks. I saw FMU work in my country. They are professionals, they worked on a C63 and an E63 and they both ran fast. I have to admit though, you dont have the best tune, but I can vouch that they certainly wont get your engine blown

Hey Mike, I recognised your e-mail. I met you in Qatar. How are you doing?

Thanks for the kind words! Let's get a new tune on that SL and we'll see what you think about the latest version!
Hope all is well.

Sad it is when companies make friends on forums that stand up for them when sh*t happens. I wish it was your engine, maybe you would at least feel how I feel now right now.
Just because they give you things for free, should not allow you claim people are full of sh*t!.. anyways.. i do not wish to elaborate more on this and neither do i want to get you Mr Mike to screw up my car any further. What you did is damn enough and YES you know who i am, please....
I am deleting my account so that your reputation is not harmed buddy. and me? scr*w me! i'm just another customer!

IMO, enthusiasts have every right to present these sorts of issues publically - but, typically, they at least give the tuner the opportunity to "make things right" before they start blasting them on forums. Your original and subsequent posts are vague enough that people will question the validity and accuracy of your claim.
I realize it may be beneficial to you to remain relatively anonymous, especially if you're thinking of pursuing any sort of manufacturer warranty claim for repair (not recommended, IMHO)... but, at a minimum, you could give some general information like (hypothetically) "I drive a C63, live in Indiana, USA, and had FMU tune my ECU. I contacted John Doe on xx/xx/xxxx to let them know my motor blew shortly after."
I tend to give folks the benefit of the doubt, but with the lack of information you've shared, your post just as easily could be a fabricated tale from a competitor trying to discredit FMU.
People will naturally be skeptical, especially if FMU comes on (as they have) and says "huh? we don't know of anyone who's had an issue... no one has contacted us."
Turns into a "he-said, she-said" situation without much to really go on, either way.

You are absolutely right. But they know about my situation. I was very reluctant to post this because i did not want them to pull on me the, either shut up and come to us or we tell the dealer.. Believe me, they will do nasty things like that.
I am sorry but there is NO way i am bringing my car to them. (copied parts from other vendors, bad generic tunes that they call custom, 0 reliability and on top worst customer service? I don't need this in my life)
You will all know my full details very soon when the letter from court arrives to their shop. The funny part is that if they really do not know who I am by now, makes me wonder if they lost count of their unhappy clients!..
