My AMG Frankfurt Auto show and Affalterbach visit
some pics from the AMG private lounge in Frankfurt, once I told them I was aPL member I got to go in and see the new SLS convertible, the show was so packed,it was nice to ahve a place to rest and relax, Herr Bauerele from AMG spent time talking AMG with me and gave me directions on how to get to Afalterbach the next day

then off to Affalterbach the next day, do not try to drive there without GPS, even then I suggest you do what I did, take the S-Bahn and bus, it was faster much much cheaper, I took the S-bBahn to Marbach and then rode a bus that was sitting outside the train station to Affalterbach and walked a few block and was there, At Affalterbach I was given a personal tour by Herr Bensegger, I was shown the "Private Lounge" and the motor production line, there I got to meet and spend a few moments talking with the man who built my motor, photos were not allowed in the motor facility. It was an amazing and personal experience if you love AMG and cars a must do

the best part is watching one man one motor, still built by hand, at the motor plant I was told that AMG motors have half the tolerances of regular mercedes motors

and a picture of the AMG Private Lounge entrance at the show, notice its against the wall, near the guy in red, notice how many people are at the show, it was this busy all day, shoulder to shoulder
