Factors that might change your cars performance
hello all , so yeah i got into the drag yesterday got to try my car twice ( got a friends helmet at last ). the wierd thing i got 1/8 in 8.59 and 8.63 seconds which pissed me off the since last week i tried the same drag and i got 8.52 while hitting the rev limiter. i was running on 42 psi on rear tires and 40 infront. i guess that might be a factor , but i am sure i shifted better than last week and the 8.63 try was on S mode with ESP sport both 8.59 and 8.52 were on Manual mode. any suggestions to help improve my numbers. im running on continental extreme dw they have less than 1000 miles. i have been driving my car slowly the last few days could it be because of the TCU ? what are the 1/8 timings on a stock c63 ?

I can tell you 3 factors that hinder me before I roll into the local track: Altitude, 91 oct gas and heat. I live in Tucson and it is *****y here.
Obviously other thinks can hinder your times like wind, your own weight, tire pressure, type of tires, how much you have on the gas tank, etc.
