No Red leather option for new c63AMG coupe orders (at my dealer)

No Red leather option for new c63AMG coupe orders (at my dealer)
Hey all, so last weekend went to purchase new c63 AMG coupe, black with red/black interior. Dealer says "our computer shows red as not available as an option for c class cars". Ok, so fast forward 3 days.
Calls me today, says that mercedes apparently is only allowing red interior on their most expensive lineup, such as the SLS, and that is the only explanation he could give me. I asked him to go "higher up" to find out more.
I'll keep you all posted on what I find, I'm kind of stuck, only dealer in my area (within 1hr radius).
Anyone run into this problem recently?

Last week I just saw some pictures of a new white C63 with red/black interior. (now I wish I had ordered that interior color combo after seeing it!)
This was previously available to order, however it looks like they may have changed the options:

221 Black Leather
731 Black MB Tex/DINAMICA
Call around, check the biggest dealer in another city near you, maybe you can get one that's already ordered.
Maybe it's just a temporary change?

It's there, it's just tricky to configure on the MB ordering system. You have to add the disgno black leather, than remove it than add the X83 red/black. It took us 5 tries but you can do it. I did it together with the dealer, keep trying.

Talked with dealer today. They "figured" it out, LOL. Guess they are not sure how to work their own computer systems, not good for the 'ol confidence.
They said they found it under "designo black/red".
Anyhow, flying to Orlando for a fun conference Saturday, and am going to try and test out the c63 amy sedan, if fits well, I'll place an order!
Can't wait!
