Residuals via MBCC are fixed with the following ways of modifying- they are exclusive of the net cap meaning whether you pay 10k over sticker or 10k under invoice the residuals are set:

1. Term
2. Mileage usage per annum (4 options with MBCC- 7500, 10k, 12k 15K)
3. Effective time period (residuals change monthly via MBCC) so a low mileage C63 coupe (7500 miles) this month is 70% but a lessee in December could see it drop or rise (not likely)

Now with Toyota and Lexus in the past (maybe no longer) one could adjust their residuals down to 20% of MSRP so they could payout the depreciation over term and keep their buyout number low. I dont know if this is still allowable but it worked for individuals who wrote off their payment or company leases with the intent to buy at the end. Im not sure if this can be done with MBCC.

George is absolutely right. If you do not title the car and drive it off the lot they can NOT keep your cash. It says NON-refundable, but it is.

Vic,
Great way to to describe the residuals, makes complete sense.
So I will do one of two things, pray that the RV goes down
Or, hopefully negotiate a lower RV/buyout price, we shall see (though seems unlikely w/ MB, but you better believe I will try).
Will keep you all posted come March,
thanks
H

Are you sure about this that is a very good deal??? can you do this with euro delivery?

The residual is strong for MBCC--- anything close or over 70 is always good even at 24 months. The .00195 money factor is not great in today's retail rate enviro (equates to 4.56% APR) but compared to MBCC's rates of the past it is quite good.

The way the deal is good is how you negotiate the sale price of the car; lease or buy always work the price of the car and not the payment. If you can get, lets say a sticker priced coupe at 82500 for 77500 then your payment would be lower compared to what it would be at sticker. As for Euro Delivery I have no clue.

No doubt at all that residuals will drop on the coupe--- afterall its a freaking coupe and a Mercedes coupe always drops in value (faster than most other models). Sorry to all coupe owners, heck I was one with a CL65, but its true. You should see the residuals go down circa 5-6 points.

Yea of course negotiate price. Just called local dealer here and they said no euro delivery on c63 coupe??? what the heck is up with that I wonder if they are just wrong I love the new AMG's but its stupid stuff like this in their new cars that makes me to own a 2010 and 2011 BMW at the same time...who wants to euro deliver a c250.
