C63 Black - Press launch
Guys - just learned that AMG will be doing the offical US Press launch C63 Black event this weekend at Laguna. Car is here and the big brass are coming from Europe. Will see if I can get some pics/vids as I am staying while the event is on which follows the AMG Pro event starting today. Any specific requests as far as pics/questions etc let me know. I am going to try and get test-drive as I have placed order and would really like to get in the thing to see if it is what we would expect from a Black series.

Wow, Dave u got an order for a C63 black.. In addition to ur SLS? It will be hard to decide which car to drive in the morning for sure. Lol

Dave to the rescue!!!!! Any pics or videos would be very much appreciated, for those of us who have ordered this car it seems like the phantom car, all I have is an invoice total for this car but no other firm info, all I know is my car is going to be the red with rear seats added, as well as the rear diff cooler with the sport Dunlop tires as the other options, other than that I am sleepless at night, wondering how this car is going to sound....much louder than the C63 or SLS, etc, how it feels on the track, so any additional info you could get may give me a few good sleeps!!! Have fun!!

I can feel your excitement Nick!! It must be frustrating to buy/ pre-pay for a car that is 100 000$+ & not know every single details about it... hope Dave will come up with more detailed information on the beast.

here are 1st set of photos. Event start on Sunday so most of the crew from Germany is arriving today or tomorrow. Bernd Schneider is one of the drivers giving taxi rides. There are 5 cars here. Weather here today was terrible with lots of rain. Will post updated photos and vids later.

Unbelievable pics Dave... thnx for posting the white, the best color hands down for that car!! I wish I could afford one. BTW, can you buy this car without the wing?

I know its functional but I'd be inclined to order the track pack and remove the rear wing. Maybe put on a small lip spoiler. Large wing looks too afterthought to me. Love the white!
