Late by 4 min 57 sec, close second. Nice pics thought. How was the trip, more details please. I've been to Germany 4 times but that was a life-time ago and before I was an MB fan.

Thanks for the compliments. I was in Affalterbach because I won a trip to the DTM finale at Hockeheimring -- with one week's notice! I had to scramble to put together our airline tickets, but it was a fantastic trip -- even though we were forced to drive AMG cars the entire time...

I wasn't even supposed to be back in Affalterbach on Oct. 24tth, as we returned from Hockenheim the night before. However, we were tired, spent the night nearby, and went back to the factory the following morning. That's when I saw the show car, which subsequently went to Laguna Seca and is on it's way to the L.A. Auto Show. Or so I'm told...
