**Rescue Plan** announced. I told Mo I am open to any of the options. To any of you on the fence, this is a great opportunity.

If you got the cancellation e-mail, you should have a rescue plan in your mailbox. lets make this happen!!!

If we can find a way, I'd love to make this still happen, why not just do a 4 hour event? Do we really need to run for 8 hours?

Mo tried a last ditch effort, but as expected, people can not agree on anything. At least you have your drag setup ready for the next announced date. It is not often we get this weather. Usually we are fighting rain. I guess its a different crowd now too.. It used to be no problem finding 30 people who wanted to have a track to themselves...

I hear you, conditions would be have been very good, maybe the best we would have seen this year, so dissapointed. Appreciate you trying Mo!

Seriously, we gotta find a way to make it happen.

I know the feeling...

I just got a new set of Hoosiers mounted and scrubbed in

Also picked up a F-250 HD because I didn't want to drive 4 hours, then run heat soaked like last year. This is now my tow vehicle, and dedicated to getting me to/from the track

The stock trailer hitch was junk so I ordered and installed a new Class V receiver, drop and ball.

I am sure Mo is sick about this. the new web site is awesome, and Mo puts a LOT of effort into these things, including digging into his pocket for us. It will come together, and when it does, I'm ready. Thanks Mo!!! Regardless of this particular outcome we DO appreciate your efforts!!

Yes, I do appreciate all Mo's done to try to make it happen. But I think the attendees need to make it better known how bad they want to go.

I think we needed additional $120 from all participants, so across 19 people that's $2260. I'm willing to pay 25% of that balance myself if a few people are willing to take care of the remainder.

Maybe we could even post a quick thread with a donation site in hopes that fellow racers out there will sympathize and make a contribution. I'm desperate!!!

Come on guys and let's save this event!!!

Thanks guys for all the support.... however, not anybody wanted to pitch in extra money to stay in, and also opinions were divided on the whole 4 hour thing, so we are going to postpone this to another date. Maybe then, we can get enough people.

Sorry again for all the trouble, I know we had AWESOME weather waiting for us tomorrow, but that's just how these things go sometimes

But Mo, some of us are saying we will pick up the slack so not everyone has to contribute more. I was willing to pay an extra $500 myself. And it sounds like Bramage and Rotary are also willing to pay more.

Any chance still?

Darn, looks like the four of us would have covered the $2k shortfall. Maybe Mo will see this and find a way to still make it happen.

WOW!! I am shocked... I have been checking this post/thread since it was opened. I was excited and enthusiastic about finding out the results.

I am as frustrated as you because this has been advertized for over 2 weeks and it never happened.
