Wow... Really?

If software "isn't a factor" like you say it is then why did you waste the money on switching tunes? Seems a bit hypocritical if you ask me.

Sounds frustrating, what you went through with Andy. FWIW, it sounds like the epoxy was a Eurotek/Techtec thing, from some of the other threads on the subject... I think it may have even been determined that MHP wasn't even applying the stuff (the ECUs were coming back from Eurotek with the epoxy there already).

I think what's confusing about what you're saying, is that isn't OE's tune also $1,200? So, didn't you have to pay Jeremy $1,200 to switch to his tune? Plus, you have a spare ECU with a racegas file... is that also OE? So, potentially, $2,400 worth of additional tuning expenses? If money is the issue, it almost never makes sense to switch tuners... any retunes usually are less from someone you've already worked with, than with whomever the "new guy" will be.

Hagi,
Tunes do make a difference. Thats why you bought the MHP in the first place. The other factors you mentioned will account for some of the time but 150# is not .3. Mike's car is a VERY fast car and everyone knows it. There are more goodies coming so step up and get the good stuff.

You are complaining about $1200 in one breath and then you are talking about getting the Weistec in another?? Don't understand that. Why punish Mike because you have a beef with Andy?? Sometimes you have to let by gones be by gones and move forward. I know you are a great driver and I know Mike appreciates it. Keep racing and have fun. Its just a hobby and last time I checked there are no trophies.

Street and strip - nothing but an X-pipe, straight 3" duals all the way out. No cats or muffs. YES, its LOUD.

Apparently Honey Mustard is faster than barbeque. LOL

I think what Mthis means.. Is there is only a 5-10rwhp difference between tunes so that is just a minor difference. The major differences are all the other mods these guys have done behind he scenes. Weight reduction, mods, etc. Tune is a small part of the equation.

Never said it was a hobby to me more like an obsesion all I've done for 1.5 years is figure out how to make this car faster, I've weighed measured half the parts on this car measered roll outs of many diffe4ent tire, countless hours of reasurch, I handed over all of almost everything with Hagi as he's shared is findings with me, you think I should just bobbed everyone the formula, if he's going to do it and ruin a realationship over it so be it!! I do have a trophy

You like I do and don't want to let anyone else get it!!

Quote: What magic
The tune is a tune there is nothing special in his that's not in mine or everyone else's. Maybe 5-10rw that's its
Dodgers car is faster then everyone else bc it's lighter then everyone else's and has custom stuff that make more power that no one else has or will ever have.
I agree on the tune. The more aggressive tunes are all very close to one another. MHP has a big track group so what seems like MHP always being on top is really MHP having the biggest track presence. If no one else with competitive tunes goes to the track than who is the competition? Its easy to be #1 when your the only kid on the block competing.

Its all good though, instead of fighting about it or talking about it prove it. I'm not talking directly to you Hagi, you have done your thing for a long time I just mean others who claim one tune is better than the other. Get out to the track and put down some numbers.

Custom stuff that one else will ever have???? Damn it!

Otherwise weight is the game with the C63. I believe you stated you were running 350 under stock Hagi? Mike is running 150 less than that? 500 pounds off his car? 3400-3500 pounds with the driver? WOW. That is light.

Hopefully you can make MIR on Friday Hagi. Hopefully you can drag Goni there too! It would be a good time.

This is true, but these types of threads never stay on topic. You can only say congrats so many times before people start asking about setups ect.. all part of the game.

How about your Keith? MIR on Friday?
