I went to test drive a m3 and a c63 yesterday, while m3 seemed much more of a drivers car, much better looking and more comfortable, but the torque of C was something I couldn't get my mind off, really addicting, but the question is how the F do you drive daily with front seats like that ? It's really stopping me from getting the C, I'm not a fat guy at all but I feel like it's too much, no way to get regular seats on it ?

I've railed a few right hand corners faster then I should have with my knee up and the Gs push my knee into the seat controls so my chair starts moving forward going hard into a corner, *** that trips me out every time.

My back was killing me just after an hour in my RX-8, but I took my C63 for an 7 hour trip and I had no problem what so ever. Now that's one great seat.

I'm a big guy - 6ft 275lbs and I like the seats once I got the bolsters/lumbar adjusted "just right". After about 2 hrs my right leg starts to cramp on long trips (I do Ottawa/Mtl every week - ~2.5 hrs). It's a little annoying, but I just keep going and once I get there I just give my leg a little stretch and I'm fine. If I was on a longer trip, I'd prolly just stop for coffee. Hell, after about 3 hours you gotta stop for gas anyways

Sat in the coupe yesterday and the seats were differen, much better than the sedan, the sedan still had the CLK black series type of seats. The coupe looked better too.

Now that the winters are on, it is mostly in C mode. It is my DD so there is no point melting my Blizzaks. We have no snow either which is a bummer, these tires will have to be changed every winter, the rears, I suspect. Funnily enough, the mileage isn't any better, maybe 20kms more per tank than Bandit mode!

On an eight mile loop around my office (with about a dozen traffic lights), under similar traffic conditions, S mode gets me about 12.5 mpg while C gave me 14. At least in this environment, starting off in 2nd makes a big difference....seems like a lot of it has to do with the way it influences my throttle inputs.

I'm closer to Hammond than Clarkson in size so the seats are just about perfect for me. ![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
They're one of the features of the C63 that I found superior to the M3. I really love the way they hug and envelop me.
And I also drive it daily like it was 1979 and gas costs less than a dollar a gallon.

but the seats are still wonderful. My first drive in it was over 500 miles pretty much non-stop. This is my daily driver but I am retired so I don't have to put up with traffic (i.e. it's driven fast and in manual mode most of the time). It's just an all around great daily driver. Best MBZ product I've owned and I plan to keep it for a long time. It's on it third set of rear tires and second set of front tires at 16K and I just changed front pads and rotors.

I ONLY WISH that I could drive it more aggressively around where I currently live....It makes me SICK...cops are hiding out in the bushes and soccer moms and dads on their way home from work are getting busted for 5 over....pathetic...
I drive it about 4-5 days out of the week. Stout machine. Solid and good.

Can someon say if there is a differnece in the adjustability of the MB-Tex seat compared to the Upgraded seats in the Sedan? I mean I know about the adjutments on the side of the door for the Leather, and the adjustments on the lower side of the seat beneath the thigh. I'm askiing if there are more adjustable parts, like BMW has 12 way and 18 way seats?
Also, do the MB tex also have lumber adjustability?

Don't know if you know or not but you can play around with the seats to open them up or close them up a little bit more. There are 3 buttons on the right of you on the side of the chair if you're sitting in the driver's seat. Re: Looks. Nah man, the C looks way better

I have an 09, and everyone who has sat in the front LOVED how the seats wrap around you. Girls also love how the seat "hugs" them hah. I do agree about the back seats being really uncomfortable, especially if it's a tall person sitting there.
I drive my car like i stole it! Thats what it's made for right?

the seats are awesome!
and really, the C63 is a beautiful DD car. after owning it, most cars on the road now are a complete bore

I drive mine daily. 20 miles one way - at least 4 times a day.
Sliding into those seats is an experience in itself. Every time.
When I leave for work at 5:30 AM it inspires more confidence and feels like I am in a seat tailored for my body.
At evening, leaving work, sliding into those seats, just signifies the end of the work day and beginning of the real fun time.
I am sure someone who is a bit on the plump side, won't be comfortable at all.
