Modification Question
In looking to make some changes to my car brake pads, suspension, etc...it seems that there are not many applications available for the coupe on most of the sites when you pick the year/make/model. Does anyone know if the suspension set up for the 2011 sedans is different than the coupe? I guess what I'm asking is will suspension that works on the 2011s work on 2012 coupes? Or, just in general, will anything available for 2008-2011 work on 2012 coupes, like brake pads.
Thanks.
Thanks.

I think you might be fine on brake pads.
H&R has sport springs but no coil overs listed yet.

Not sure about KW but they make great coilovers.

The suspension has been modified for 2012 and the coupe suspension may be different from the sedan so don't assume anything for the earlier models will work.

I'm interested in brake pad ideas people have too. I plan to change the brake lines, fluid and pads before next year's track season. I find OEM pads cannot handle the heat of the track. Normally I don't like pure track pads as they are too noisy for the street but on the M3 you could get dual purpose pads that handled the track heat WAY better but were also easy to live with day to day.

I wonder how much of a drop will the springs give you on a coupe? Also I was thinking of using the springs with oem wheels wiith 13mm-b and 7mm-f spacers. I can't wait to get my coupe, the 790 wheels look good with the magnitite black. I've looked at O.Z supertrismo lm's, but the concave of the amg wheel looks so agressive. The other wheels have strange off sets and I don't want to get into a jam.
