2012 C 63 coupe vs 08 C63 Sedan magazine comparo
All you have to do is purchased the February 2012 Car and Driver magazine and check it out your self. With all the talk the C63 Coupe only shaved 2 tenths of a seconds
of the old 2008 Sedan times at VIR(Virginia Lightning lap). VIR is a 4.1 mile road course so there is plenty of room to compensate for mistakes, mishifts,driftings etc.
new 2012 Coupe C63 with AMG Dev package ran a 3:06.3
old 2008 Sedan C63 ran a 3: 06.5
According the magazine article :the 2012 Coupe C63 has new springs,shocks bushings and additional camber on each corner. The tail stays now on place.
Now I want to hear from you. What do you guys think?
I was thinking of at least like 2-4 seconds difference. The coupe tested at Nurburgring was significantly quicker than the C63 Sedan. Also, acceleration wise(on paper) the Coupe is quicker..

Even the Lexis ISF was tweeked for 2011 and yielded a 3:05.4 sec folks! that is even quicker(video below):

^^^ Very true. I concur with you, that is my personal opinion too. The Coupe suppose to be an enhanced version for the first C63. Definately can't hold this test as the only reference. We know that the Coupe already lapped the Nurburgring faster...
