My wife is FOB Nanjing and she only buys the real stuff for here. She has fakes at our house in China. I ask her why she doesn't use the fakes here and she says "I'd know its fake. Then what's the point?"

She keeps the fakes there because of all the ****** and grabs on buses and trains.

We have a friend with a fake Hermes bag. The quality is incredible. The authentic bag is 10k or so, and the friend could afford it. She says that getting that bag on a trip to China ruined label products for her. She says after seeing how easy it is to reproduce even something of that calibre they just lost all their appeal.

I dont get that myself.
