Under Car Cross Member Question
Does it act as a chassis brace or some sort of rigidity device?

Reason I ask is because I had to remove it to install my X pipe...
Even the cross member provided with the the X pipe rubbed.

I'm not sure if I should just add 20mm spacers and install the bar or just leave it off.

Thoughts?

I don't know what it does, but I'm pretty sure it is not there for looks. . .

I would replace it.

I just finished re installing it with spacers... Lots of clearance now!
