2011 C63 Sedan.....2004 VW R32
I got the same problem myself...We just got hit with 6+ inches of snow here in CT and I'm suppose to pick my C63 up on Wednesday...Only saving grace is it is suppose to warm up to 50 degrees and rain on Monday which will hopefully clear away all the snow...Bad time to get it but couldn't pass up the deal!! My dealer put the sold sign on it and locked it so nobody could sit in it and what not...I would ask em to do the same for you! Good luck with it!

Hey guys!
So very entertaining and interesting replies!

I emailed the dealer, they sent back a hilarious response of my question
"I just wanted to make sure that the car is not a demo care. I am picky, and do expect the car to not be driven, nor sat in."

His reply today "You have nothing to worry about. We only let children sit in it when they are eating ice cream. Just kidding. It's locked

I really like this dealership, and of course I'm very happy that the car will be cared for.

I think in the end, I'm just going to have to wait, of course if I had bought the car outright it would be in my garage already!
We shall see how the weather holds, hopefully by end of Feb this gem will be MINE!
thanks
H

I am in NYC and I just took delivery on my c63 coupe and my wife's e63 wagon 2 hours ago that was shipped here from Ohio. It snowed a couple of inches here last night and most of the day today. I was supposed to take delivery last weekend when it was sunny but due to transporter issues it was delivered today. I can tell you that I like my car's clean and perfect as much as the next person, but just knowing that my car(s) are ready for me but sitting somewhere else would drive me nuts. I know I won't be able to drive the cars until next weekend (weather permitting) but just knowing it's in my garage makes me feel infinitely better and who knows, maybe if the weather and roads clear up, i can take it out one night after work this week. I know the lease is an issue, but maybe being able to go out to your garage and sit in your new car would make up for it?

Not sure if this matters but when mine came in a month early my dealer offered to pay the monthly payment to make the difference from the intended delivery date. Made it a no brainer...

I also have a SEVERE case of OCD ... and knowing "my" car is sitting at the dealership being touched is almost unbearable!

Get the dealership to cover the first month's payment and have them deliver the car to you on a flat bed. OH .. and don't forget to ask for a free key chain!

Congrats and enjoy your new car!
