I did it accidentally and can't redoit again. Thoughts?

Just point the remote at the door handle and hold unlock down for about 5 seconds and the windows and sunroof will open. To close do the reverse.

1) Point your key at the door handle.
2) Hold down the unlock button

All 4 windows and the sunroof will start to open.

You can do the same with your thumb. Just put your thumb on the handle 's sensor, all windows and roof will close.

Doesn't work on my 09. Do you have to enable it?

I just tried it on my '09...everything opens together, on "lock" the sunroof went first, a second push-and-hold was required for the windows. Good to know!

Gotta point it at the drivers door only though and press open or close and hold it down

On my 07 E63 and 10 C63 this does work, remember that you have to be within 12" of the IR sensor located in the door handle.

I'm pretty sure this only works if you have Keyless go.

just confirmed... it works on my 2010 keyless go... keep finger on the little indention in the handle that arms/locks the doors and hold it there for a second and it will close the windows...

but is there a way to open it as well without holding the key to the door?

Thanks guys! I had no idea until my stereo installer accidentally did it and we tried several times to recreate.

I stand corrected...tried it again a few times this morning and all windows and sunroof are working in unison.

Hey guys. Is there a good reason that MB made this function work via IR and not via the standard radio waves?

It's the law. Other manufacturers allow you to open via IR but never close on a US spec car. The reasoning behind it is pretty idiotic. They feel that if you have to point the key to the door than you will be watching the window close minimizing risk of someones hands being there.
