Just got back a little while ago from the tune day in Montreal. It was a great day, met Mike and Barry at Eurocharged, along with a few other C63 owners.

Came away with a tune, didn't opt for a dyno run though. But from my butt-dyno experience it was overall a good $700 spent: the car is absolutely magnificent and a beast with it. Definitely had a bit of fun on the highway ride back home...

Did manage to see someone's car go on the dyno, which was a great experience.

Can't get enough of that C63 sound!

Thanks for coming by my dyno shop. It was great to meet everybody, though I get the feeling there were more people outside, some of which I missed!

For example, who had the S600 I heard was there.....? 12 cylinders, 2 turbos. Yum,

had fun watching all the C's getting tuned and dyno'd! lol sucks that i couldnt tune mine today...guess it rly is murphys law... see u soon!

Thanks to Eurocharged and DynoDoc, Mike, Barry and Brady. Really nice people to deal with ! 6.2AMG, Crazy1Eye and myself hung around the shop all afternoon we got the chance to ask just about anny questions we could think and had a good time, you guys rock!

So I finaly made my mind and put my 11 P31 on the dyno and get a tune. Im happy with the results ! I removed secondary cats and the resonator. NO xpipe...

heres the dyno sheet for you curious out there!

yea i guess the new running lights as opposed to the round fogs make it less aggressive lookin (also maybe the fact that the new model is slightly curvier to blend in more with the new CLS and others coming up the lineup) but they both look pretty badass!!! but the new black series.... thats a mean lookin machine!!

So that was the Affalterbach I saw when I was leaving; I have to say, that was a stunning car to see. I loved the matte finish on it when I saw it at the autoshow a while back and seeing it up close and in the sunlight, it's even more stunning.

Ya, it was nice meeting & hanging out with some fellow AMG/car enthusiasts, yes, Anthony's car is sweet! Thanks to Brady for the dyno & to Barry & Mike from Eurocharged for coming out & also for the pizza

I opted not to get a tune this time around & just dyno my car for comparison, unfortunately the 2 non P31 C63's there opted not to dyno their cars & just get the tune which we know definitely works, just would've like to seen the difference stock vs stock P31 on the same dyno, on the same day

As for my 100% stock P31 C63 which I always use Petro-Canada 94 octane gas, Brady did 4 or 5 pulls ranging from 427-433whp @ ~6460rpm & 400ft/lbs @ ~4410rpm.

I got my C63 and C320 tuned in Ottawa Sunday. The C320 - not huge difference, but does pull better with the tune.

The C63 - now that is awesome. Holy crap, I did some WOT runs in 3rd and 4th on the way home and it felt like the car was trying to twist itself around the drive shaft. I got home with a big wide Sh%$-face grin.

I figured I would hand around....

I then got A ride with another guy wo just got his base C63 tuned. I did seem to be sharper and faster.

So what the heck... I decided to get the tune on my stock 2009 non PPack C63.

I would have liked to get the dyno but I didn't have the time as I was going out of town. I got a little heat from the wife because I arrived late.

BTW the exhaust on Anthony's car is outrageous. Good thing we were in a semi-abandoned industrial-commercial zone because honnestly someone would have called the cops LOL..

Now i'm thinking about doing the sec. cat plus resonator delete for myself.

We need to do a C63 montreal get together from time to time.

That Affalterbach sounds great in the video, I could just imagine how amazing it would be to hear that in-person! Definitely interested in at least replacing the resonator with straight pipes now...

Glad my dad gave you a ride to help you with the decision; the throttle is definitely sharper and more "alive" after the tune. Coming from a bone stock, non-P31 car, the entire car just seems to pull so much harder now.

yeah. I agree. in first gear even at part throtle, when you get to 3000 rpm there is a sort of v-tec cam effect. as if the power gets a bump when it gets to 3000 rpm. I am waiting anxiously to put my summer tires on...
