Quote: I LOVE those black badges! Did you just paint the stock ones or buy another set and keep stock ones? Would love to do this but scared I'l mess the paint up or something taking them off. How easy/hard is it?
you can just plastidip the stock ones. you wont' even have to remove them from the car!

I did not use plastic dip. I used engine enamel.

plastidip looks chitty after time...collects dust, fades, collects wax residue, turns gray. Would just paint in the future

It's your car. But since you asked...it looks like Liberace modded your car.

Just saw this post got bumped up. That red antenna definitely reminds me of Char from Gundam.

Yeah yeah, I know that's otaku material but hey...

Man, MBWorld is becoming inundated with boring, run of the mill "same 5 mods on every fu(king boring c-class" sheep.

Your car looks great, looks unique and I bet it turns heads in a good way all the time.

BRAVO for not being a debbie downer with a CF lip and black roof like all the haters in this thread. Their cars are a dime a dozen, unlike yours.

How are the calipers holding up? Any chips?
I'm thinking whether I should do a DIY or powdercoat them.

If its any help, I painted my calipers July of last year and they are holding up great. Looks as good as the day I got them painted, no sign of chips or anything.

Thanks Carl. Did you do a DIY like Guppy or did you get them powdercoated?

I calipers are in great condition but I only drove 300 miles after I painted it. Car is getting dusty and sad.

No problem Matt, I actually got them painted at a shop here in SoCal.

Actually, I like the idea of continuing the black wrap up the A pillars and down the top of the rear quarters to connect to the spoiler. But if I did that, I'd definitely go back to black on the antenna. If you did to the red AMG accents, it might fit, but it's hard to tell what you have in mind without some kind of mock up.

My calipers are silver and I'm trying to figure out what else would look good besides just black.

Your car. You enjoy driving it? You chose the color's and scheme? Then it's great, to you.

But........................since you asked. It's a little poser-ish, but not obnoxious. however, I do not like the hood or, yuck, the red antenna. Sorry.

But enjoy!!!!!
