Lowering and Alignment?

OK, so the bug has already bitten and after 2 weeks of ownership I already want to lower my car. ('09 C63).

I recently saw another '09 that was lowered with H&R springs and I liked the look. It was low enough, but not "slammed" (been there done that).

While talking to the owner, he said that when it was lowered, the shop wasn't able to get the car into the right alignment spec until he purchased some camber adjustment bolt from the Euro cars? Any idea what he was talking about....??

Thanks!

p.s. I tried searching....but my head starting spinning because there's just wayyyy too many topics.

OK...after a little bit more searching, I came across these kits from K-MAC.

Any experiences?

I am thinking of trying them as I have H&R coilovers and purchased the camber bolts when the car was wheel aligned at dealer. I still have inner tire wear on the front though.

I have a kit sitting on the shelf. However I bought it to add even more negative camber than the drop provided. Not installing it until my next track weekend gets closer.

The back are wearing perfectly even, there is negative camber but I think they are towed in quite a bit. Im getting around 10,000 km out of the rears. The front are perfect other than about 5mm of the inner is completely worn. I may have to raise the car a little to prevent this as I believe there is no adjustment left.

How low are you on your H&R's, I'm about 1/4" all around from the lowest setting and have the camber set at stock setting.
