Drove a C63 Yesterday
Hey All,
So my buddy and I went to the Merc Dealership yesterday and tested out a 2011 C63 Sedan.
First off, WOW.
The car was much much better than I expected. I have a C32, but the C63 feels so much better than my car! Obviously its 10 years newer and had a 70k price tag along with it, but still.
My friend is a hardcore BMW guy. He NEVER liked the look of the C63 or even Mercedes Brand for that matter.
He was always giving me crap about how Mercs couldn't handle. Yesterday, though, everything changed. He actually said he would take a C63 over an E90 M3. I was shocked!!
I myself didn't even expect the car to feel that good. The power delivery is smooth, the gearbox is quick and snappy while being smooth at the same time. I was really impressed.
Right after driving it, I drove his M6. I just wanted to compare it to the feel of the C63. Of course, I was on the streets so I couldn't feel either of the cars limits.
All in all, I think it is a GREAT car. I want to test drive an E9x M3 next and see how that feels. I liked the steering feel of the C63 A LOT! It felt nice and heavy which is something that the W203 platform lacks.
I'm only 19 so I can complain about my car, but I definitely see a C63 in my future...
