Installed my custom V1 concealed display..
I had this custom Valentine One concealed display in my Audi and made sure to take it out before getting rid of the car. Probably one of the coolest features is that when it's off, you can't tell what it is...just looks like a small display. The other cool feature is that I've wired it with a remote mute button which I have mounted in the shift boot. So when the radar goes off, you never have to reach up and mute it. The unit itself is mounted just above the rearview mirror, on the driver's side. What do you think? (sorry for the crap pictures, all I had handy was the iPhone)

Thanks guys! Basically, you start with the standard V1 concealed display (picture below). Then I dissect it and remove the circuit board and display parts. They get mounted into the new "box" and then covered with a red-tinted cover so it's very discrete when it's off.
Once you have the circuit board out, there's some wiring that has to be done in order to extend the remote mute button. This is nice because with the mute button mounted somewhere down near the shifter, there's no need to reach up and actually touch the V1 in order to mute it. The main V1 unit is mounted above my mirror and stays dark.
