Quote: I wonder why the seats are different. I'm 50/50 for coupe vs sedan right now. Put my car up for sale, see what kind of action it gets.

because the 4-door seat bolsters wouldn't allow the seats to fold forward in the coupe to let people get in the back seats

I will be asking myself the same question in July when I plan to upgrade to a 2012. Personally I like the coupe but other members of my family will also drive it sometimes and they feel a 4dr would be easier to drive/handle?

Someone give me some ammo to put the argument to them that driving the coupe would be easier. In all honesty it doesn't bother me a lot if its sedan or coupe, either way its a great car.

I guess sedan makes it that bit more practical for most of us.

Does anybody else have to decide between coupe and sedan with wife/family in the mix?

Here is my advice... if YOU are buying it and it's your car get what you want. Let your family drive their own cars if they don't like a coupe.

I have a wife and three kids (ages 11 down to 4 months old) and the coupe hasn't been an issue. Obviously, when the entire family goes somewhere together than we take my wife's SUV but even with a sedan it would be too small for everyone. Me and my wife or me and a kid or two fit fine in the coupe.

I'm seeing one more dealer this week for price comparison. Then will put a deposit for May delivery.

I need to put 20k aside from here to then if not, So I can put it down on the car asap.

It's the biggest financial decision I'm making in my life, besides properties. It's kind of scary.

I can't pick the color yet, I'm leaning towards magnetite black on full red interior as i'm afraid of not liking the 2 tone in a few years.

Just hope my car sells for a good price and I don't get ripped.

Does anyone know how much it would cost to get the 19' wheels painted black from factory?

I drive in Boston area and makes around 120 miles to the tank. Highway wise about three quarters of a tank from Boston to NYC.(222 miles)
Personally I prefer the sedan, love the lines and theres more history in the sedan line.

you guys think the black wheels would look good with magnetite black on red interior?

or keep it regular finish?

Seeing 2 dealers tomorrow, finalizing order Friday. Went to see some 997.2 porsche's and too small for me. Sat in the new 991, loved it. Turbo will come next for me after c63

You might be thinking of the Edition 1 coupe vs sedan as the coupe has P31 but the sedan does not. Think I got that right.

go to dealership. Long story short, no allocation of 2012 left for them, they have one car on the way in magnetite black, two tone red and black and the 18's.

I want full red, and the 19's. I mean paying 85k for a car, better get what I want. They had a diamond white one in the showroom, without PP, I liked the white.

So he's gonna do some searching and see if anything can be found from other dealers. He says worst case you wait June/July and get a 2013 model, can anyone here confirm that they will be 2013 models in that time frame?

Also for 3% discount right from the bat, didn't even push yet. So I can do a little better. Will try and sell my car in the meantime.

Simply, DO YOUR HOMEWORK;........like the rest of us, & you'll be fine.

*Looks like I was too slow to reply and you already bought one. Congrats on the purchase!!*

The difference driving will be so neglible that it really is a personal preference to looks.

For me I thought the coupe looked way better than the sedan but some people love the four door so at least now there is a car that makes us all happy.

The coupe as a daily driver isn't bad, the trunk pass through is pretty big and has been usefull for loading things in. 95% of the time I'm the only person in the car but when I have had people in the back they were all comfortable, even so 6'+ guys.

Good point, definitly get the LSD. My Edition 1 coupe had the development pack but no LSD and it was a real pain.

Where is live I have to go through 9 stop signs to get from the highway to my house and at each one in the wet it was a fun game not to spin the wheels. I also had trouble pulling into a steep driveway in San Francisco, everytime I tried to apply power one wheel would lose grip and just spin so in the end I had to give up.

I got a OS Giken installed and it makes a BIG difference but is more expensive than the OEM option.

I have the Sedan.

The smaller front door is a plus for me in getting into the car in the garage while its parked next to my wife's C300.

I prefer the looks of the sedan as well as the ease of being able to get a set of track tires into the rear.

If you do get a rear passenger, it's much much easier to live with.

This is a good point... the only issue I have with the coupe is that the door opens VERY wide (much further than my M3 coupe). It's fine for me as I'm careful but I always worry about passengers just throwing the door open and it slamming into something.

I parked my friends A5 in my space as I'm next to a wall, and it opened and gave me enough room. For a guy my size I found it easier getting out of the 2 door as the B pillar is further behind. Besides the Coupe is narrower than my car, i'm bringing a c250 coupe home tuesday morning to practice parking.

I'm also considering keeping my TL, not sure yet what to do. If i sell it, i lose almost 20k in 3 years. If i keep it, it'll be a good first date car, also great in winter and I can save mileage on the C63.

The TL is payed off by next June 2013. I have like 5 k left on it, my payments are less than 300$ a month. What do you guys think? Pay it off now and just have 1 payment on the C and drive that in the winter also? Or just keep this TL?

OK then, you get a BIG P.P. in Canada...in Oz we don't get internal carbon Fibre, or the L.S.D., but we do get the 19" muti-spoke wheels.
