C63 black series wheels

Hi all,
Does anyone know if the wheels on black series are/or will be available to purchase in the US ? If so, will they fit a 2012 c63 coupe?

Thank you!

They will most likely not fit.

They are too wide in the rear.

One of AMG's perennial problems is excessively skinny wheels. Wait until people start taking delivery of their BS's, and you might be surprised at the width & offset.

The offsets are ET25 front (19 x 9) and ET47 (19 x 9.5) rear if that helps.

There are lots of "similar" wheels out there... 10 spoke forged wheels aren't hard to come by. Rennen has one (M10 I think), Nutek has one, Forgestar (although offsets aren't ideal). I think if you like the style, then there would be other routes you could go.

Also just realized TSW Interlagos is sort of similar and has ideal offsets. Forgestar CF10 will work if you go 8.5" front and 9" rear. I too am looking for a BS similar wheel.

You beat me to it on the TSW Interlagos wheels and they are forged as well.

They are not forged to the same quality as HRE, etc. I believe they are rotary forged which is really like a very high end casting but I'm no expert. I also looked at the TSW wheels and the reason I backed away is that they are not hubcentric and need centering rings. I hate using centering rings as they are a pain in the butt IMO.

Well yea you cant compaire to something like HRE's but the TSW's are also very light weight and a huge difference in price between the two.

Very true. I would have ordered a set myself if they were hubcentric.

If we're comparing against MB stock wheels, I'm pretty sure HREs are a lot closer to the price than TSWs.

I must say I think they are one of the best bang for the buck light weight wheels out there.

they don't have to. The BBS P.F.S. isn't a pain at all. Snap rings = no drama. My CH-Rs are similar specs to the Black Series at least in the rear. No issues on an E550 Coupe

I have found the plastic centering rings tended to melt with track usage from the heat and the metal ones would seize to the hub like a spacer. Maybe I just had bad luck but just found them to be a pain.

The TSW Interlagos are not forged !

The Forgestar CF10 are a close match to these BS wheels in 19x8.5F and 19x9R. They will be semi-concave like the BS wheels as well. Ideal tire setup would be stock or 245/265.

Just curious as i know nothing regarding offset rims. Can someone explain why the BS rims would not fit on a c63? Is it due to rotors or calipers?

I believe our stock wheels are 19x8 +45mm offset, so the BS wheels at 19x9 + 25mm offset are too aggressive in terms they "might" stick out past the fenders a bit. But it's been done before, u will have to use a stretch tire to avoid rubbing.

The C63 and Black Series are completely different vehicles in terms of wheel fitment. The fenders are much wider. The rear of the Black uses a E-class rear end. The track/fitment are basically like 2 different vehicles.

Here you go with some pics
