Hello everyone. As some of you know, I have a 2012 C63 Coupe. I did not opt for the development package thinking that I would be happy with the power that the C63 came with. And I was, for a little. My first upgrade was replacing the secondary cats with a X-pipe and removing the resonators in favor a straight pipes. I went to Miami Muffler to do this. The car woke up a little and was a lot louder, but I still wasn't happy with the power. I then decided to do remove the stock filter and charcoal filter and replace with a K&N unit. Whatever. Still not enough. A good friend of mine started talking to me about software. I looked into difference companies and decided to go with Velos since it was in my backyard. I'm from Miami. My friend was also getting work done to his car there and had nothing but wonders to talk about them. He has a M3. I started doing my research and noticed that they worked on a lot of CLS', C63's, E63's, etc... I decided to go for it. I spoke to a gentleman by the name of Omar. Super cool guy. He told me if I would take him my car that week, he would give me a special promotional price. I was sold.

I got to Velos and my first impression was WOW!!! This place is nice. Talk about classy. They had a couple of very nice cars. He spoke to me for a little, told me a little about himself and the shop. I also met a guy by the name of Jean which was also very cool. They have a very clean bay with a lift. Then in the waiting room, they have wood floors, a flat screen TV with Cable, and you get control of the remote. Xfinity for the win!! I had to get to work so I left my car there. He told me he would take very good care of my car, and they did!!!

He finally called me to go pick up the car at the end of the day. He wouldn't tell me the results until I got there. I guess they wanted to surprise me. I was expecting something like 40hp at the wheels or something like that. I would have been very happy. When I got there, he had a smile on his face so I knew he had good news. We got to talking. Here is where it gets good. He told me he took my car to the dyno before the tune. The car put down 362.46 hp at the wheels with 359.94 torque. After they tuned my car, the car put down 442.24 hp at the wheels with 405.11 torque. 80 HP AT THE WHEELS!!! HOLY ****!!! I was amazed. He explained a little to me about what they did and what not but honestly, I didn't hear much. I just wanted to get in the car and drive it.

We went into the office, which was also very nice and classy and I paid them. The promotional price they gave me was out of this world. I definitely recommend you guys go see Velos.

Once I jumped in the car and drove it, WOWZERS!!! I couldn't believe this was the same car. My car was really moving. You could really feel the difference by the seat of your pants. I honestly think the car just drives better. It was amazing! And the power and torque? Unbelievable!!!

I would definitely recommend you guys go look into Velos Designwerks. They were very professional. The staff and shop at top notch. From the look of the place to the work that they are doing there, incredible.

I have a couple of pics to share with you guys including the dyno sheet. I hope you guys enjoy. Please feel free to share your thoughts. Here you go...

I'm in the Miami area. I had the same problem at first. I didn't know what to do. I did my research and this place looked like the place to go and I'm glad I went there. I notice the gains I got and I'm super happy. Try contacting Omar or Jean at Velos and talk to them. See how you feel. Again, the gains were amazing. Most that I've seen.

I could ask the guys at Velos if they have the AFR's from the dyno. If they do, I will ask them to send it to me and post them.

I was on 93 octane.

I don't have any sound clips right now. I'll try taking one with my phone and posting it. Hopefully it does it justice.

So just replacing your secondary cats with x-pipe and resonators adding K&N Filters + Velos remapping gives you a healthy 80whp.

That is something.

Hey,

Will load up some of the runs with a/f posted on all of them. This particular run had an a/f cutout towards the end.

Run 1 is a stock a/f - Starts really Lean and then goes really Rich

All other runs are tuned files

Run 3 & 4 the a/f cuts out later (bung falls out)

You can notice how a/f follows a more direct path without going excessively rich. Once the car adapted you notice the a/f was consistent. A/f was also logged on the street after to confirm results with live data.

maybe the rear tires only.

but definitely wouldn't hurt to settle for a pair of wider PSS, 265 or 275
