Video: 2012 C63 X Pipe and Resonator Delete
#28
can someone educate me on the x pipe. Also does anyone have a diagram of the bottom of the car? I have a CLS and would like to know where the resonator sits on the bottom of the car. Also does this effect the cats at all? If you remove the res do you smell the sulfer smell from having straight pipes? Thanks gents

****, I thought mine was quite expensive
I was really happy with the resonator delete with SS straight pipes. Cost $120 ish.
Then I did a secondary cat delete and replaced it with an X pipe. It seems the sound is more refined but more constant than before. Still not sure I'm happy with it. Thinking what to do about it next.

i got this setup right now i did last week. and im taking that x pipe off. not loud at all..... unless i rev it. sounds like a monster when revin it. i love that part. there is power gains believe me on this. but sounds so quiet now. when driving on 2nd 3rd gears. even when i hit it... no more amg sound. so im going back to stock 2nd cats or maybe straight pipe the cats? what u think it will sound like with straight pipe resonator and 2nd cats? more amgish?
