This head bolt issue is interesting.
I have an XJS v12 and to stop any corrosion issues with head bolts I use water less coolant.

I have had a number of issues over the years: intake manifold problem, oil leak at the block, air suspension pump failure, fuel pump failure, but not the bolts (knock on wood…).
I asked my SA, and he said, of all the many many m156 engines that they've had come through their busy dealership, bolt failure has only been seen on a handful over his last five years there.
Seems to be low incidence.
Still in the back on my mind…78K miles.
