My new C63 meets my "old" M3

Do you notice any difference in ride height and wheel gap between the 18's and 19's? Would be interested to see some actual measurements, ground to lip, and tire to fender between the 2.

The 19's are wider than OEM at 245/265 and therefore fill in the fenders a bit. The gap is noticeably smaller. They are also a little more pushed out as the PSS are wide tires to begin with. Overall look is much better... much beefier.

I actually pride myself on being about as neutral in perspective as one can get when discussing the C63 and M3. I have always clearly commented on where the M3 was better IMO and where the C63 was better. Many guys on M3Post are great and appreciate cars other than the M3... others not so much

I had an E46 M3 with Imola Red interior. I loved the car but it was time for something new and the C63 was just too far out of the price range. For the price of the C63 I could have bought the C350 and kept the M3. But I do love the C63 and think it has it hands down over the M3. BMW is losing a lot of it mystique. I think the C350 is a great car and there are none of them around. I registered it last week and it was the first one inspected in NH...

They only downside with the PSS is they have a softer sidewall than, say, a Bridgestone RE-11. That means great ride quality but you can sometimes feel the tire flex side to side.

Ok... I know this is a bit lame but I liked the picture of the two cars together so much I had it developed and framed. It now sits in my office next to my AMG Performance Tour certificate and some other less important pictures (wife and kids, etc )

Not lame at all! I think it looks wicked and am a huge fan of pictures! I have a framed picture in my bedroom when I picked up my car (although it was my first performance car). My dad is a private pilot and has pictures of all of his planes.
ps. Thanks for the review on the PSS... I think Im going to put my order in

2009 Barolo Red C300 Sport and 2012 Lunar Blue C350 Coupe
Maybe your girlfriend saw this pic
I took a pic of my E46 M3 and overlayed it with a pic of my C350 coupe. It is amazing how close they are to each other. The windshield and roof line are almost identical. The only noticible difference is the wheel base of the C is longer than the M3.

compare C coupe to E46 M3
Just so you know which is which, the C350 is Lunar Blue and the M3 is silver/grey.

They are awesome... PSS need a few hundred miles on them to stop feeling squirmy but after that they are ROCK solid. Also, ride comfort is amazing. The PSS on the 19" wheels are noticeably more comfortable than my 18" wheels/tires were.
They only downside with the PSS is they have a softer sidewall than, say, a Bridgestone RE-11. That means great ride quality but you can sometimes feel the tire flex side to side.
