MHP LT's And Akrapovic's evolution?
Hey guys
I recently placed an order for akrapovic's "evolution exhaust system" and im planing to also go with MHP's LT headers. MHP headers come with mids and that made me worry a bit. is that setup even possible?
im no expert at these things and would appreciate any help.
thanks

The MHP headers/mids bolt up to the factory exhaust rear section. The Akrapovic rear exhaust/muffler hardware AFAIK is designed to mate up to the factory exhaust mid-section as well - so they should mate up with one another also (MHP/Akra).

The headers come with mids and will not be compatible with the akra Evo system. However, if you don't install the mid section from the Evo, it will be compatible. If you insist to install the Evo whole system, the headers will need cutting and modification near the stock primary cats area. If you really want the mhp headers, your best bet would be ordering the akra slip on system. If I remember correctly, the diameter of the mph lth is different from the akra Evo diameter, thus apart from cutting the mph headers you will also need an adapter to make everything to work.
The mhp header will connect to stock resonator, and the akra slip on will bolt up to the rear end of the stock resonator.

I have the Evolution system and no long tube headers will just bolt on to the Akrapovic Evo system because the Evo system requires one cut after the primary cats before the bend, which it also removes your secondary cats. If you must use the Evolution system, you should only purchase the long tube headers without mids cause the Evo has mids, but you need to have a shop to make a short custom pipe from the long tube to the Evo system.

Trying to decide which LT header to get next; mhp or mbh.
