The Air conditioning on my 2008 C63 is not working properly, I checked the fuse today its fine... the compressor clutch is not working as far as I can tell so its either low, or someone knocked the wire off. Any other tips or things I can check before going to the dealer.

I also don't have my manual so if there is some special procedure for turning on the the A/C let me know.

There is an A/C button on the climate control that should illuminate red when on. I believe if there is a malfunction with the compressor it will flash or not come on at all

Its red and lit up solid all the time... I just too a look at the compressor from under the car as far as I can tell its all plugged in but i cant tell if the compressor is running or not the pulley is turning but the lines aren't getting cold or hot... I am going to connect the computer up to see if there is any codes and maybe a pressure gauge to the system to see if it has a leak.

Sounds like to me that the system needs to get recharged. If the AC compressor was turning on as normal you will here a clicking noise when it goes on and off.

it has a leak we found out this after noon it was low on freeon
