Why P31 does not increase torque?

Why P31 does not increase torque?
With a 60 hp gain as evidenced by dyno results, can somebody explain why there is no concomitant torque escalation?

I like the feeling of being thrown back in the seat when accelerating -- will the p31 increase in hp cause a more intense thrown-back feeling or will there be no difference in that sensation from the stock c63 because the thrown-back feeling comes from the torque?

2012 C63
P31 improves the torque curve instead of upping peak torque. Simply put, you'll get pushed back in your seat for a larger portion of the rpm band.
