After you take a few deposits usually that means you are stuck with that sale, its your fault you took the first couple of offers with deposits and not hold out for the right one. Its an amateur business man dealing who would make these mistakes and upset some honest members of MB World, when people deal in good faith you should as well. But as they say, "what goes around, comes around" and surely this situation will come back to haunt you.......when I sold my 19 OEM to VR Cruiser here a few months back, I had an offer that same day for 500 dollars more, I didn't take it as I confirmed with him already and I know what it is like, being so excited etc for the purchase, I am not going to back out of a deal that I made because someone offered me more, especially after taking a deposit. Shame on you.

I NEVER took his deposit. I never even gave him my paypal address..

Everyone needs to chill out.
This is what happens I'm a good friend of mtlcls500.
I just bought my 63 and I wanted the 19's, I offered him a good price, apparently better than the initial one that was offered, and since he was my close friend, he decided selling them to me made more sense.
It's unfortunate what happened, but there's no need to bash anyone here and call each other names.
He's not a liar or a scammer, throwing those accusations at him is not right.
He hasn't stole anyone's money here so stop making him
Look like a thief.
I hope we can all forgive each other and move on!

If there is a person who should feel upset is me.. Not only u had my deposit in ur hand (considered sold) but I lost my OEM wheels in this process. And now I will pay more money to the dealer to get my 19's.
Honestly, I'm not going to bash u but my advice to you is next time u should sell things on eBay if u want to get best offer. Just do good merit, and be more apologetic in ur replies towards the frustrated members.. A sorry can go a long way no matter who us wrong or right. Let's close this thread & move on with our lives.

^^ yeah, I got that figured out.. Almost 3500$can, just have to figure out the taxes & duties & brokerage fees. Looks like it will be close to the dealer's price.

You are a liar, Roswell whom I know personally as well, you took his deposit of $500.00, then days later you decide to sell them to someone else, thank fully you just returned his deposit, you have insulted members on this board who have been here a very long time and are very respected, you are new here and you should earn your stripes...like Gthal stated, this community is small and I have over the years met many many members of MB World at AMG Driving Academy events....you have done yourself no favors in your dishonest ways of doing business. Your credability is ruined here and its time to grow up and take it like a man....if you are capable of doing this is another thing.

I`m not sure I understand your logic here. Did you take a deposit from Roswell or not? If you did, why did you go back on your deal? I thought you said you sold both sets (one to a member and one to your buddy). If so, why did you back out of the deal with Roswell when you had his deposit. Seems to me the stories between several members here and you are VERY different and either facts are missing or someone isn't being truthful.

Shady stuff here. Please don't insult REAL businessmen on here, like me, who stick to their words with actions. I see no fault if you made it totally clear to all potential buyers that it was best offer and then set a date or $ dollar amount that would end the auction. Although you didn't steal anyone's money, you were straight up being dishonest & deceptive which is equally **** poor in the business world.

I'm am sure mtlcls500 told you he already had taken a deposit on the rims. Being you guys are soo close and all. I would have said " Yea, I want the rims but you have already taking someone's money --you need to honor the deal."

The Roswell Deposit Was for my OEm wheels and tires on my car. I had decided not to sell them in case Something happened to my 20's I didn't want to get left with no wheels.
the second set I sold to Donnie.. One has nothing to do with the other.

Finally, I'm glad to see u apologize to other members for ur mistakes. And I'm all cool on my side about this, no harsh feeling. It's partially my fault for selling my oem before having his 19's in my possession.. Ah well, we live & learn.
