Racing Brake pads?
Replacing the front rotors and pads pretty soon and have done some research so have read up on others trying Hawk, Endless & Porterfield but has anyone given the Racing Brake ET500 pads a try yet?
They sound like a good compromise for street & the occasional track day and at a reasonable cost too, compared to other aftermarket offerings.
Any input would be appreciated.

Nope - no P30 so just the heavy-*** 1-pc rotors which I'm fine with because they are way cheaper. I thought about the RB 2-PC upgrade but can't fathom spending $1200 when $260 is all it costs for OEM replacements.

I've used Racing Brake ET500 rear pads and ET700 front pads in my Evo. Excellent cold bite, low noise, low dust, and worked great for trackdays too.
I recently upgraded to their 2-piece rotors as well. Great company with good products. I'll be using their pads when my OEM C63 pads get worn.

Thx thrilla. Seems too good to be true as low dust is usually not synonymous with good braking. Out of curiosity, what other (if any) pads have you ran on your EVO? BTW, I've had the good fortune of driving my friend's old Evo8 and that thing is a handling beast!! An amazing machine & one of my all time favorites.

The Evo is a great weekend fun car. I love it.
I've tried girodisc magic pads, advertised as no dust and low noise. Except stopping is unimpressive. Even with daily driving I didn't like it.
EBC Yellow, great pads. Low noise, low dust, good cold bite. I'll probably put them in the same level as ET800. In my opinion, a good aggressive street pad, some track duty.
That's all I've tried on the Evo. I'm not too familiar with what works well for the C63, but I'll probably stick with what I know, when it's time to replace them.
